Notice to Persons Who Solicit the Sale of Goods or Service by Telephone

NRS 599B Notification:

The 2009 Nevada Legislature temporarily repealed NRS 599B.015, 599B.080, 599B.090, 599B.100, 599B.105, 599B.110, 599B.115, 599B.120, 599B.125, 599B.130, 599B.140, 599B.143, 599B.145 and 599B.195 as part of Statutes of Nevada 2009, Chapter 475.

The 2011 Nevada Legislature enacted Statutes of Nevada 2011, Chapter 475. Please see SB 473 which set aside the repeal, reinstating NRS 599B.015, 599B.080, 599B.090, 599B.100, 599B.105, 599B.110, 599B.115, 599B.120, 599B.125, 599B.130, 599B.140, 599B.143, 599B.145 and 599B.195 effective July 1, 2013.

Until July 1, 2013, there is no provision for the registration of persons who solicit the sale of goods or services by telephone. If you have any questions regarding the application of the provisions of NRS Chapter 599B prior to July 1, 2013, please consult your private attorney for advice.
