Attorney General's 2007 Rural Road Trip

Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and members of her staff hit the road through 12 of Nevada’s 17 counties on September 24, 2007. The theme for the trip was: “Five Challenges Facing Rural Nevadans: Methamphetamine, Identity Theft, Domestic Violence, Senior Protection and Child Advocacy.” The four-day trip included stops in Alamo, Pioche, Ely, Elko, Battle Mountain, Winnemucca and Lovelock. The Attorney General hosted open forums in each of these towns to meet and talk with residents and dignitaries about their concerns and issues.
