Several community
groups throughout the state of Nevada have mobilized to
respond to the spread of meth use in the state.
Join Together for
Northern Nevada: In Washoe County, this group
created the Meth Community Response Alliance, and is
working to develop strategies to reduce meth use in
Washoe County.
Partnership Carson City: Created by city leaders to
tackle the methamphetamine issue in their schools and
community.
Symposium on Methamphetamines: Held in January 2006 in
Clark County included more than 100 community
stakeholders who participated.
