Rhonda Zuraff, Publisher of Elko Daily Free Press
Rhonda Zuraff, a nationally honored circulation and
marketing manager for Lee Enterprises, has been
publisher of the Elko Daily Free Press since February
2004 when Lee Enterprises, Inc. acquired the newspaper
from Liberty Group Publishing.
Rhonda currently serves as a board member of the Elko
County Economic Diversification Authority as well as the
Nevada Press Association. In addition, she is the First
Vice Chair of the Elko Area Chamber of Commerce and
active in the local Rotary club.
In August 2006, the Free Press formed the Business
Leaders for Drug Free Communities Group with active
participation from Barrick North America, Newmont Gold
Corporation, Cashman Equipment, Northeastern Nevada
Regional Hospital, Stewart Title and Dr. Stephen Price
DDS. Their goal is to support methamphetamine prevention
efforts in northeastern Nevada.
