Governor's working Group on Methamphetamine Use Members


Ted Quasula , Chief of Police of the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe

Ted Quasula’s law enforcement career started in 1974 when he served as a Flagstaff, Arizona, police officer. He then spent more than 25 years with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Law Enforcement Service. Quasula worked his way up from field criminal investigator to director of the national program.

A member of the Nevada Indian Commission, Quasula holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Northern Arizona University in Police Science and Administration. He is also a graduate of the Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Program for Senior Executives and the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy and has his Nevada Peace Officers Standards and Training Category II certification.
