Governor’s Working Group on Methamphetamine Use

Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto served as the chair for the Governor’s Working Group on Methamphetamine Use. The group was commissioned by executive order by Governor Jim Gibbons in January 2007. The 16-person group was tasked with studying the impact of methamphetamine on the state’s law enforcement, corrections facilities, social services and community services. The group presented a final report to Governor Gibbons in December 2007.
